Today, as a mathematics professor, speaker and champion for first-generation students, I get to live my dream! My programs are tried and proven and I believe they will benefit your students!

ENVIRONMENTAL THERMOSTAT PROGRAM
What do I mean when I say environment? Well…let’s discuss!
INTRODUCING ENVIRONMENTAL THERMOSTATS!!
Dr. Kendrick Savage defines Environmental Thermostats by describing how there are regulators [choices, tools, decisions, organization skills] that impact a students’ thermostat [being prepared, unprepared, healthy and/or unhealthy] and will ultimately impact their environment!
Problems happen when students are using/suffering from negative regulators [poor choices, poor time-management, disorganization, emotional and mental turmoil] that turn their environmental thermostat to negative, which creates an environment that is not conducive for success!
My program covers three essential environment areas:

Dr. Kendrick Savage, mathematics professor, award winning K-12 teacher and dynamic student engagement leader has developed an amazing program that is designed to K.E.E.P students on track! This program is designed to be used for fall, spring, and/or summer semesters! Dr. Savage, reflecting on his journey as a first-generation college student, and the level of dedication it took to succeed offers students’ resources, tools, motivation and tips inside his newly created program!

DR.SAVAGE: A MENTOR’S JOURNEY!!
Dr. Kendrick Savage, a mathematics professor, mentor, poet and speaker is a great example of the power of mentorship! His participation in programs such as LSAMP, the McNair Scholars Program and The Big Brother Big Sister Program left a life-long impact on him. Dr. Savage’s greatest passion is being a mentor to others and helping them navigate the difficulty of life and academics!
He served as a mentor for 3 years in the LSAMP Program and Big Brother Big Sister Program while in college and would ultimately serve as mentor and president of LSAMP. His mentoring of LSAMP scholars would extend into graduate school along with serving as a mentor to McNair Scholars.
